They are currently wishing to appoint an Account Manager to be located in the East Midlands.Duties and Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the development of commercial activities by managing your own accounts & product portfolio. Responsible for maintaining close contact with existing suppliers and producersResponsible for expanding potential contacts Required to be familiar the entire process of purchasing, sales, logistics and marketing functions being an important link between customers and suppliers. To review, negotiate, and implement pricing policy in line with company policy.Requirements: Experience in field salesRelevant sales experience in a business-to-business environmentThe willingness to travel nationallyA good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and WordExperience of chemical distribution would be preferred but not essential.Required to have a strong commercial understanding and able to exploit opportunities.
