Clinical Pharmacologist Needed - Baltimore, MD
Our Clinical Pharmacology Center in Baltimore, Maryland is currently looking to add a clinical pharmacologist to their team. You will report directly to the Medical Director and be responsible for a variety of specialized clinical research activities, maintain protocaols and monitor participants status and safety.
Responsibilities:
Function as the Principal or Sub Investigator for Clinical Research Studies.
Provide medical review of safety protocols as requested by sponsors.
Adherence to Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and SNBL-CPC’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Explains protocol procedures to participant to ensure their understanding and adherence.
Administers Informed Consent and discusses study details with the participant.
Conduct Physical Exams in study participants.
Evaluate clinical laboratory and study examinations.
Monitors and documents all participant’s adverse events, medical condition and response to study medications and treatments.
Responsible for ensuring that the clinical trial is conducted according to the protocol guidelines and all applicable regulations.
Administers study medications.
Exemplifies participant and staff relations in all activities.
Lead all staff members involved in the participant’s care.
Arranges for additional pre/post laboratory work or procedures as needed.
Supports the implementation and application of the Initiator database.
Responds in a timely manner to queries related to the clinical research data.
Attain and maintain ACLS certification.
Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must hold a current, active unrestricted license to practice medicine in Maryland
Must be board certified / eligible by a specialty board approved by the American Board of Medical Specialties.
Minimum of 5 years executive-level leadership experience in a professional environment.
Previous clinical research experience.
Knowledge of state and federal laws and FDA regulations governing the healthcare, Clinical Research and Pharmaceutical Drug Development industry needed.
