      Join the WHOCC, University of Toronto, and UC San Diego Extension for this professional and policy-oriented course which tackles the complex issue of how corruption manifests in the multi-billion dollar health sector.
      The course is ideal for a wide range of professionals, researchers, and students currently involved or interested in examining the core topics related to corruption in the health sector, policymaking, and strategies to confront corruption. The course includes a masterclass, lectures, case studies, panel sessions, and a group change design workshop highlighting the different challenges and solutions to addressing corruption in health with leading global experts including those from the WHO, UNDP, USAID, and the World Bank.
      The first day of the course will examine core topics related to corruption in the health sector, engage in discussion with panels of experts with direct field experience dealing with corruption, and explore solution building through a change design workshop. The second day consists of targeted issue areas allowing participants to concentrate on a health corruption track of interest.

      • Describe the key characteristics of corruption in the healthcare system and explain how it manifests in different contexts;
