We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our Primary Care team to work with our exiting portfolio withing Respiratory & Immunology (R&I) towards GPs. Knowledge and experience within sales will be a success factor in this role.

The role is field based and located in Sjaelland region with responsibility for driving the performance of products in this area.
As our new Key Account Manager, you will contribute to AstraZeneca’s strong R&I portfolio as one of our key growth platforms. You will drive commercial interactions towards various partners. You will be accountable for your regional accounts securing sales and driving business in collaboration with local cross-functional teams.
The role
Pro-actively identifying business opportunities, communicating value propositions aligned to customer needs and objectives and recommending solutions to drive and develop business
Develop robust understanding of needs and perceptions of prescribers and other key partners
Drive cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration to fully maximise AZ's account management capabilities
Secure account and market access by driving activities with the right customers within the right accounts
Build, develop and manage long-term external relationships
Drive and implement our digital and omnichannel approach towards our customers.
In order to succeed, you have:
Relevant sales experience, preferentially – but not required – within R&I
An academic degree or an equivalent healthcare or commercial background
The ability to understand and communicate complex information, flexibility to adopt scientific data
A commercial innovation mindset – the ability and a proven track-record of developing, shaping and completing impactful, customer/stakeholder focused activities to achieve long-term business goals
Strong digital skills and able to drive omnichannel approach
Good leadership skills - ability to coordinate, align and engage cross-functional team to drive activities and address needs of individual accounts
A true teammate with high trustworthiness
Excellent interpersonal skills and proficient in both written and spoken English and Danish
Ability and readiness to travel within region and according to role needs
Driver´s license required.
